About Us
Melanson and Bell Builders was established in 2018 by Sean Melanson and CJ Bell, both raised in Hingham and have been living in the South Shore area ever since. They started working together in the field over ten years ago, and since, they not only have developed into a true working partnership made up of great teamwork and communication, but their reputation of quality craftmanship and client service has legitimized their partnership to start Melanson and Bell Builders. We are full-service general contractor working on residential building projects of varying sizes and scales.
Sean Melanson
A dynamically talented Master Carpenter with over 15 years of experience in the field, Sean’s carpentry and woodworking craftmanship and tireless work ethic has gained him many fans over the years. His in-depth knowledge of the construction process and sequencing of work in the field enables us to set up efficient and safely run jobsites.
CJ Bell
Before starting Melanson and Bell, CJ has been a Project Manager, Purchasing Manager, and Estimator for several large commercial general contractors in the Boston area. He has worked on fast-track hospitality projects, many with challenging unique one-of-a-kind design elements and logistics. CJ brings all these roles under one hat and with his background, he can adapt to client/project specific needs using a variety of tools and techniques; be it technology, systems, finishes, or equipment.
